LIVE MUSIC CONCERTS
Each year the Music Service Staff Orchestra performs a series of Live Music Concerts in schools and community venues. This provides the opportunity for thousands of young people to experience the excitement of a live orchestra and to learn about the instruments and how they are played. The staff orchestra also performs at the annual WELB Christmas Concert and at the community carol service in Omagh.
Mayfest
Now in its fifth year, this event has become an important part of our annual calendar of activities. Educational workshops involving hundreds of pupils are held during the day and the evening concert provides the opportunity to showcase some of our exceptionally high performing ensembles.
